Notes from the Field

Slow notes on attention, creativity, sound, and environment.

Notes from the Field is a monthly email exploring how attention is shaped, and restored, through forests, sound, movement, and creative practice.

These are my reflective notes and observations from working with sound and moving image, spending time in forest environments, and thinking about creativity as a core aspect of wellbeing.

What you’ll find here:
  • Reflections on attention and creative flow
  • Audio-visual work using sound and moving image
  • Notes from the forest: light, movement, rhythm, sky
  • Gentle thinking on creativity, wellbeing, and environment
Sometimes there will be audio. Sometimes writing. Sometimes a short film or fragment.
Always slow. Always considered.
